For a couple of months now we have been involved in feeding the pets at an unhoused (homeless) people camp here in Seaside, OR. The camp is home to people enduring a challenging time in their life. Without judgement we are working to help them with food for their dogs and cats, leashes, treats, jackets, now that the weather has turned, and hopefully spay/ neuter surgeries and other basic needs. We can’t do this without your support though.
Just a couple of days ago I distributed food for mostly larger dogs, puppies, and a few cats, along with eight jackets. We actually ran out of buckets of food, but everyone got at least something. On a rainy day like last Friday we go through roughly $70 - $100 worth of food.
Can you chip in a weekly amount to help keep the food deliveries going, especially through the cold and wet months? Even $6 a week from a small group of supporters we could count on would be huge! We also updated our Amazon Wish List (look for: Pawsitive Souls - Kind Kamp) and Chewy.com Wish List to represent items needed for these pets. Coats, travel beds, leashes, etc. It all makes their lives a little more bearable. I look forward to your support and collaboration in this endeavor!
